June Alumni Spotlight: Naeem Roberts
Naeem Roberts graduated cum laude from Albany State University in 1999 with a degree in Early Childhood Education and has been a faithful physical and financial supporter of ASU since matriculation.
He also holds a Master's degree in curriculum & instruction. He has been working in the Georgia public school system for the past 24 years, and currently serves as a district level professional development specialist for the Henry County School System.
Naeem, is currently the president of the ASUNAA DeKalb Area Alumni Chapter. He has also been an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha from his initiation in Spring 1998 to the Delta Delta chapter to his current membership in the Rho Sigma Lambda graduate chapter. In 2023, Naeem was honored to be named to The Southern Crescent Top 50 Men of Influence. He most recently served as the president for the school council at Woodland High School where his children attended. He has dedicated his life to service in the community and the education of others.
Finally and most importantly, he is married to The Honorable Danielle Roberts, the father of twin boys, Joshua and Caleb and the owner of Book Sense Tutoring in Ellenwood, GA.
Congratulations to our President, Naeem Roberts, on completing your first year as President of the ASU DeKalb Chapter.
