ASU DeKalb President Maria Boynton would like to thank everyone who volunteered at the Atlanta Public Schools Back to School Bash yesterday. The Bash was held at the NH Scott Recreation Center on Tilson Rd in Decatur.
ASU DeKalb Vice President TaKeshia Thomas said "The school drive was awesome. It was well organized and well attended. It warmed my heart to see students of all ages excited about getting school supplies. Members of ASU DeKalb represented the Chapter by stuffing back packs and recruiting members for our chapter. An excellent experience overall. Special thanks to Jeannie Johnson for assisting our chapter to be a part of this event. GO RAMS!”
Today, Sunday, August 2nd, is the last day to take advantage of Tax Free Shopping. Please bring school supplies to the August 8th, meeting: Martin Luther King Jr. High School Assistant Principal Penial Dany will be in attendance to accept our donations.
