ASU DEKALB: THE CHAPTER THAT BOWLS TOGETHER!

"This is just a warm up. We have to do this again!", words of excited bowler Marilyn Russell-Green.

Green joined other ASU Dekalb Chapter members and supporters at Saturday night's outing at the Stars and Strikes Bowling Center in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

Social Committee member Michelle Jones said with a big smile, "I don't know if I'm gonna be able to raise my hands in church tomorrow. My arms are sore."

With just too many strikes to remember, Rubye Hampton led the night. Even during dark-bowling Rubye found her pace and continued to hit the strike zone. Her parting words for ASU Dekalb members, "I'm sorry, hehehe."

Robert Bell had the most overall points. He said that he really enjoyed every minute of it.

ASU Dekalb Social Committee co-Chair Polly Lawton presented trophies and medals to the winners.  Lawton said, "I really and truly enjoyed this outing. I liked it because it brought different people together.  Lawton went on to say, "Such events make the chapter more visible in the community. I thoroughly hope that more members will start to join us at these events."

ASU Dekalb Chapter President Tamara Nelson said, "I had so much fun tonight. I really wish that more members could have participated. Hopefully, we can do this again in the near future."

The $20 fee included pizza, dessert, drinks, lane and shoe rentals.
