ASU Shines at Circle City Classic
It was great to see so many Albany State University fans, students and supporters in Indianapolis! Of course, we were all there for the 28th Annual Circle City Classic. The football game, held at Lucas Oil Field (home of the Indianapolis Colts)
pitted the Albany State University Golden Rams against the Kentucky State University Thorobreds. ASU throttled KSU 57-31.
Georgia State Representative Calvin Smyre told us, "This is huge. I truly wish everyone could realized how
huge being here is for Albany State."
The ASU Marching Rams Show Band did not disapppoint. They were always on the move during the trip, performing at a high school, at the pep rally and at the big game. Mr. Decuir and staff orchestrated a wonderful performance that was full of precision and a crisp sound.
The game ticket also included a concert by rapper and actor Bow Wow and singer Monica. Yes, we hung around for the excitement.
